During the Coronavirus emergency the health and safety of EVERYONE is the priority.
Bearing this in mind, and in-line with the governments recommendations on essential working, certain operations within my workshop will continue on a strictly part-time basis depending on demand and urgency.
This also means there are no specific opening hours and the workshop may be attended at ANY time of day including weekends to accommodate key workers and finish jobs as quickly as possible.
The length of the working day may be extended in order to finish a vehicle sooner and reduce the number of commuting journeys compared to spreading the work over multiple days.
Any work currently in progress will continue to be worked on in order to complete the repairs, and any new enquiries must be of an urgent nature.
The workshop is in a secure, fully isolated location in private grounds, and there is strictly NO unauthorised access.
Any KEY WORKERS requiring urgent work carrying out to a vehicle in order to maintain mobility will be accommodated, however, depending on the availability of parts and materials some work may have to be carried out on a 'Temporary Repair' basis to keep the vehicle mobile and roadworthy, and brought back at a later date for cosmetic details finishing off.
There is a STRICT NO UNAUTHORISED VISITING rule in place and the workshop is closed to the public.
All enquiries must be made via phone or email first to arrange a convenient time for bringing a vehicle in for urgent attention.
To comply with SOCIAL DISTANCING recommendations, any vehicle brought for repair MUST be dropped off at the front of Jumples Lodge whilst I am in attendance but maintaining a safe distance of AT LEAST 2 METRES without ANY personal contact.
The keys must be removed and left on the roof of the car.
After the customer has turned and walked away, the keys, door handles, gear level and steering wheel will be cleaned.
A plastic seat cover will be fitted and rubber gloves will be worn at all times whilst the vehicle is being driven.
A professional, filtered, fully-fitted rubber face mask will be worn by myself whilst driving, or working on any vehicle.
On completion of work, the vehicle controls will be cleaned again as described above, the keys will be removed from the car, cleaned, and left on the roof of the car whilst the customer is in attendance BUT MAINTAINING A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 2 METRES.
The customer can then take possession of the vehicle and exit the private workshop location onto Jumples Lane.
Payments must be made by online transfer only. NO CASH will be handled to avoid the spread of contamination.
Any vehicles being worked on will be in a strictly isolated workshop, without ANYONE else in attendance, and only myself in contact/working on the vehicle.
These restrictions will remain in place until further notice.
Many thanks for your patience and understanding during this exceptional situation.
